Deutsche Bahn Group meeting 2008 Berlin. German Chancellor Angela Merkel attended the Deutsche Bahn Group meeting in Berlin. Chancellor Merkel offered a look into the future of the venture. “We know from DB’s history that the first steps we take a rarely the last,” she said. Looking at the Group’s development, the Chancellor continued, “Deutsche Bahn has already demonstrated that it has no reason to be afraid of competition” |

Since 1997, Schenker-Seino has been offering high-class air-freight services from Osaka to Germany’s central HUB Frankfurt. In June 2008 Schenker-Seino has launched a new Bulk Unitization Program (BUP) from Osaka to Frankfurt.
Yoko Ueda joined Seino Transportation Co., Ltd. in 1997. Her career-start in the international freight forwarding world was close to the base of the business: She was assigned to Aichi Prefecture to train as a truck driver. Postings at the Seino-head office in Gifu prefecture with Household Removals and the Overseas Business Division in Tokyo followed.
Schenker-Seino has their own specialists for fragile goods of creativity. The Fairs & Events department’s work includes museum logistics and our fine arts expert studied art- history at university. She now deals with quite a few of the artists she learnt about, or seen at exhibits in her spare time.

DB Schenker transports Buddhist treasures Temple treasures from one of the oldest monasteries in Japan can be seen in Germany for the first time. “Daigo-ji － The Secret of Buddhism in Japan” is on view at the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn until late August.
